- In Outlook 97 go to the Tools menu and select Services
- In Outlook 98 go to the Tools menu and select Accounts
- In Outlook 98 Internet Edition go to the Tools menu and select Accounts the Add and then Mail
- Highlight internet mail and then click the properties button.
Fill in the information as indicated below.
- Full Name: your name
- Email Address: the e-mail address you want people to reply to, eg. yourname@yourdomain.com
- Internet Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Account name: This is the login that you will have been provided with by Turtle when you opened your account.
- Password: This is the password that you will have been provided with by Turtle when you opened your account.
- Then select Advanced Options and enter mail.yourdomain.com in the SMTP server dialogue box.
You have now set up Outlook 97/98 to use your domain to send and receive mail.
