- From the Edit menu select Preferences...
- Open the Mail & Newsgroups section, and Click on Mail Server.
- Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Mail Server User Name: This is the login that you will have been provided with by Turtle when you opened your account.
- Click on ADD under Incoming Mail Server.
- Server Name: mail.yourdomain.com
- Server Type: POP3 Server
- User Name: This is the login that you will have been provided with by Turtle when you opened your account.
- Click OK.
- Click on Identify in the left column
- Your Name: Enter your name
- Email Address: normally this will be your login name and your domain eg. login@yourdomain.com
- Reply-to Address: enter the e-mail address you want people to reply to. eg. yourname@yourdomain.com
- Click OK
You have now set up Netscape Communicator 4.5 to use your domain to send and receive mail.
